Description: This woman prefers to wear red clothing when she does not wear armor. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her auburn hair is cut short. Her eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Paela was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Irann was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She is wearing a long, yellow, dusty cloak. She wears a colorful flower in her blonde hair. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Joan abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants and is in decent physical shape. Her brown hair is braided into rings. She is baby faced.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pennie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
