History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Vaina would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Vaina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Vaina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Elegant learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Personality: Markosian is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
