She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Akra was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.
