He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.
