History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He prefers to wear yellow pants and tee shirts, marred by teas. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Anselm is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is an amazing painter.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Anselm took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a Bather soon after.
