History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
