He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Armara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Maegan isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
