Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears dull pastel sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. His red fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
