History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Armorer; and he's in love

History: Rosalind was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in halberd use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Rosalind was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ootah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
