History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Virra took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor she uses now. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: A 6'8" southern man, he is dressed in an above average manner. His crest is black and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Vaina was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vaina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her skin is flawless and her gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born in the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
