He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: Pallabar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pallabar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
