History: Erky lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Banker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Portia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After a long history of fighting, Vola and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Cressel hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything.
