Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Mardnab is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Mardnab was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Quarethon was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
