Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Torbera was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Torbera was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Vassago is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Isabella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
