Description: She has a missing left leg. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Sporting a black mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Portia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Through the years after Portia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Portia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She has worked as a Courier like her mother before her.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Carter. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again.
