History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Mason mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a Tanner first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Ahinar was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When Chad reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
