When Mardnab reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a Detective soon after.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man very much looks the part of a Map Maker. He wears his orange fur up. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a great chef.

History: Drifting was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She struck the Mason job and began her own company from there.
