History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Sariel was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Burana began to lead the lost caravan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
