She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Maynild lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Maynild has worked very hard to control her curse. History: He was born in a small plains village. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Balifra was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
