Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Orryn hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Orryn alone in the world. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Balifra has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jezean grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.
