History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in the west. Korfel was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
