His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bûbol took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He became a Laborer soon after.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Halfling Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eiravel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jade studied abroad. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. After a long history of fighting, Jade and her spouse have recently divorced.
