History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Beggar father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Flame lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
