History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Elegant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Healer. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
