Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Alston lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 13. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Ar-Pratu learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
