Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Avelina grew up listening to her father's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Ghesh was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ghesh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emmeline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
