Personality: Wella wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly crossbows and sais. Her white hair is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Stableman profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is greedy

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is greedy.
