Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for him, and Baern does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears a brown coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon her head. Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A true patriot, Liftrasa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Description: She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
