Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rangrim's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He takes great joy in being the best Dyer in town.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dagnal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dagnal. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption
