History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kairon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants and is in decent physical shape. His crest is brass and very short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gold.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Fax was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but she was a colossal failure. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Merchant and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and to find somewhere to settle down
