History: Mishann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Aust was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
