A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
