Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Eloise does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Wella has worked very hard to control her curse. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. A true patriot, Vezera would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.
