History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Irann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
