History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Kilia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is unsatisfied with his job
