Description: A 6'1" southern man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has wavy bronze crest. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born into a rich family. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Mugrunden began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Mugrunden was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: She wears a yellow costume with the symbols of death on her torso. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. She has wavy chestnut hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This malnourished woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her white hair is wavy and long. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
