History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Vicky abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She got into the Navigator business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

This amber eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ranala will drive conversation. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Ranala was born with her father's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
