History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Beiro was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
