History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears professional attire. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cockaby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. A true patriot, Cockaby would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Tomi was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to be a herbalist again

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a blacksmith again

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quillathe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels threatened by others
