History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He bought a whip and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Bolg's homeland. Bolg decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and money/treasure

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His black hair is singed and shortened. His white eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Akmen's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Akmen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Akmen reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
