Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Veloptima embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Veloptima was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His red crest is unkempt and raggedy. He has a dull look in his gold eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Body Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a rapier on his belt. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a Actor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Description: An older woman who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, she is not a threatening figure. Her long silver hair reaches down to her waist. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Oolah was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is dressed in earthy colors with a green and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. He has a dull look in his black eyes.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Damakos fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
