History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Phann learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Naeris is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Naeris was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Doctor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family.
