History: Gruk was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Bellfounder and occasionally as a mercenary.

It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tordek grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tordek. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

History: Born in the east to a Marshal, Sarah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is braided into rings. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 36. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Burgell has worked very hard to control his curse. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the south
