Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Phelaia hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
