History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with her Spy father left her crippled. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is light but she possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. She wears a tan vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her tan boots flare out at the collars. Her black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born in a small forest village. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mumpena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. She has shaved her head bald. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Hugh began to lead the lost caravan. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.
