History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Shanairla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Architect mother left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His blue crest is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Direcris grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Direcris. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and carries longswords. Her crest, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. This red eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Hethress and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother
