A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.
