Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is physically well-built. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Voice: Speaks with squeezed throat

Description: She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her blue hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her black eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents enrolled her in a Barbarian school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
