History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Morana was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.
