History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Rieta lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carpenter.
